John 8:58 is one of the more common Scriptures cited as irrefutable proof of the trinity. Great emphasis is laid on the translation
as found in the KJV and others as it seems to be saying that Jesus is calling himself "I AM" making himself Jehovah.
But as you can see when you compare different TRINITARIAN translations the "I AM" translation is far from the only
way it can be translated and properly understood.
